You’ve never had za’atar this good.
Fresh, authentic za’atar straight from Jordan- you’ll immediately taste the difference.
What is Za’atar?
Za’atar is a famous Mediterranean seasoning, consisting of a blend of wild thyme or hyssop, sesame seeds, sumac, and salt.
It can be sprinkled on top of just about anything, but the most common way to eat it is to dip a piece of bread in olive oil, and use it to soak up some za’atar. It’s just that good- that it can simply be eaten on its own with fluffy pita bread or baguette. It’s wonderful when used to roast vegetables, on top of a bagel with cream cheese, on some avocado toast, on sprinkled top of hummus, on top of pizza, or really anything- the possibilities are endless, and I’m sure you’ll get addicted!
Not all za’atar is made equally.
The za’atar that you find at grocery stores is usually made with dried thyme or oregano and spices instead of the fresh, authentic herbs, resulting in a stale taste. This za’atar is freshly made by the experts, to deliver you the best taste you can find! This is the same za’atar that my Middle Eastern family, the harshest of critics, use in all of their Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cooking.
